“Anything worth doing is worth doing well,” quotes Mike Bruner.  This quote was instilled in him as a small boy and he continues to live by that philosophy.  As a native of Vancouver, Washington he learned to love the outdoors and as one of five boys in his family, he learned to love athletics.  He grew up as an avid athlete and continued his athletic career at Idaho State University.  Now an avid runner and triathlete he continues to satisfy his competitive itch through various organized events throughout the year.  While at Idaho State University he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in accounting while participating in various student body and college of business organizations.  After graduation in 2008, he started his career in public accounting in Medford, Oregon with Moss Adams, LLP.  While there he worked primarily with small businesses and medical professionals and helped them monitor their growth to help make them become more profitable.  In 2012, he relocated to St. George and joined the tax team of HintonBurdick where he continues to work with individuals and small business owners in understanding and growing their businesses.  Mike also sits as the chair of the firms tax committee.

A skilled tax professional, Mike specializes in healthcare professionals, small business owners, and individual taxation.  Mike enjoys helping his clients understand their businesses, proposing tax savings opportunities and helping create tax structures that help business owners strategize for taxation and retirement.  Additionally, Mike leads the firm’s 401(k) and Pension Plan retirement practice.
